Muse Invite Code Not Working? 8 Fixes That Actually Help

You’ve found a Muse invite code, pasted it in, and nothing happens, or you get an error. Almost every failed code comes down to one of the eight problems below. Work through them in order.

1. The code has been used up

Each personal invite code can only be redeemed a limited number of times. Reports put the limit between 20 and 30 people per code. Codes shared on busy forums often run out within hours.

Fix: try a different code. On our invite code list, each code shows how many visitors said it worked and when it last worked, so you can pick one that’s still live.

2. Your account is more than 48 hours old

Invite codes only work within 48 hours of creating your account. After that, the redeem field won’t credit you, and the window can’t be reopened.

Fix: unfortunately there isn’t one for this account. You still have your regular free allowance, and you can earn bonus tokens by sharing your own code.

3. You’ve already redeemed a code

Each account can only redeem one invite code. If you redeemed one earlier, a second won’t go through.

Fix: check your token balance. If it’s much higher than the normal allowance, your first code already worked.

4. A typing mistake

Codes mix letters and numbers, and it’s easy to confuse O with 0, I with 1, or S with 5. Spaces before or after the code can also cause problems.

Fix: copy and paste the code instead of typing it. On our site, use the Copy button so nothing extra gets copied.

5. You can’t find where to enter it

The redeem option is in Settings, under General. On mobile, Settings is behind the menu icon in a corner of the screen. Some users find it near the usage section.

Fix: if you still can’t see it, update the app to the latest version and restart it. Features roll out in stages, so the option may appear a little later on some accounts.

6. You entered it in the wrong place

Muse’s invite code isn’t a promo code for paid plans, and it doesn’t go in the sign-up form or a checkout screen. It only works in the redeem field inside Settings.

7. The code is for a different “Muse”

Several unrelated products are called Muse, including a game-development AI tool and a video hosting service. Their invite and beta codes won’t work in Meta’s Muse, and the other way round. Make sure the code was shared for Meta’s Muse personal agent.

8. Muse isn’t available where you are

If you couldn’t create an account at all, Muse may not be available in your country yet. See where Muse works.

Still stuck?

Contact Muse support through the app. Invite codes are handled by Meta, so independent sites like ours can’t check or reset them. And if a code from our list failed, please tap “No, it didn’t” on it so the next person knows.
